In an effort to help the children get to know one another better and build a strong classroom community, I am asking each child to do 2 things for their special week!
1. Use a poster board to create a poster all about him/herself! Photographs can be used or pictures can be drawn that represent things they like (foods, sports, or TV shows) and interesting facts (where they were born, how many family members, or pets) can be included on their poster! It can be decorated as you wish! No rules apply!
2. Make a “Me in a Nutshell” bag! A paper bag will be sent home prior to their week. Please help your child put in 3-5 small items that help describe them "in a nutshell". If the item does not fit in the bag, please find a smaller item!
Your child will share their things with the class throughout their week. All items will be sent back home on Friday.
