We learned noo stuff  abuot  Prestints.  We learned  hou  to  count  by  fours in math. We also learned  abuot editing our poems. We  learned  abuot  katipilers in  Mrs. Deprospris’  class.  We  made a bord game at  libare  in  speshols.

Notes:
*I had a couple of questions about accessing SplashMath and Raz Kids at home, so I thought a reminder to all may be helpful. (I sent login cards for both at the beginning of the year but I understand if they have since been misplaced.) The easiest way to use these programs would be to google them in your search engine and then click on student login. Once you get to this screen your child should be able to log on, since we use both programs daily in our class. PLEASE let me know if you need further help.
*Behavior has been a little more challenging the last 2 weeks. Our snow days definitely have had an impact. I really appreciate more conversations at home about school expectations and being respectful to peers and teachers. Thanks so much! Have a great weekend!

Feb. 14

8 more days in til jump rope four hort. At jump rope four hort we are going to have hoola hoops and jump ropes. We will have the same spelling wrds necst week. Shuyi’s brthday is on Friday. In math we are motlpliing by 3s and yosing dot pappr to help us!

*In folders you will find a Valentine packet your child worked on in class today. A lot of students did not finish. If you find you need some quiet time over this extended weekend, you may want your child to complete it. It will also give you an idea what skills your child may need to practice. 
*I will place Scholastic book orders tomorrow.

Feb. 8

We are learning about poems in writing workshop. We are going to do jump rope for heart. We are learning about Chinese new year! In math we are using bar models to solve problems.

Feb. 1

Hi! We have been having fun finishing opinion writing. Everybody just got done taking their benchmark test it was easy. We have almost done eighty word wall words. Alot of us leveled up in raz kids. In specials we watched secret life of pets. It was fun! In math we are doing harder meseurments. We also have a new math book. Everyone is happy because the weekend is close!
