*In case you didn't see my email earlier this afternoon, I'm trying to prepare for our upcoming conference. If you will not be available on Nov. 15, 19, and 20, please let me know so I can look at additional dates.  I will provide the online signup once it is available.

*Next week we will be reading a biography of Abraham Lincoln's life including a timeline of important events in his life. I would like our students to develop a timeline of their life too. On Monday you will get a blank timeline. Please help your child fill it out with 5-6 important events starting with their birth date! Please return by Thursday 11/1! Thank you for your help!

October 23 October Family Craft

*Family Craft: An orange paper pumpkin will be sent home today! You can decorate it any way you want! Sequins, stickers, glitter, yarn, google eyes, and any other kind of material can be glued on it! Please return these promptly so they can be displayed! 

Oct. 19

We did subtraction with regrouping. We are doing specials different today (Thursday) because Disperospes and another class are going on the field trip. Disperosis friends are going to be with mrs didomenicos friends. Friday is our turn to go on the field trip to the bank.  We are doing daily five. We learned about pumpkins. We got to feel inside. We also got to feel the outside of the pumpkin.  It is a fruit because it has seeds.

Oct. 12

Thursday was picher day. We took a clase picher and a persnle picher. Some people did not get a persnle picher because they did not pay. But they took a clas picher. We prepared for our math test this week. We used our Ipads during lising to reading. Raz kids has three things for us to do lising, read, and answer questens. We lerned abowt yocing lots of detals too.

*On October 22 from 2:35-3:10, I would like to invite you to our class for a Writing Celebration. Students have been working hard on narrative stories and they will share their favorite one with you! At the end of our celebration we may have an added surprise! We hope to see you! If you can make it, please email me so I can get a general "head count"!
*The most current lunch menus are always posted on WSSD's website. Sorry for any confusion with lunch choices this year. Our new food vendor is making some changes sometimes without teachers being notified. Thank you for your understanding!
*General information about our upcoming Halloween class party will go home on Monday! Be on the lookout for more specific information from Mariel and Sunny our 2 room moms!

In math we are learning how to regrop. Giolina was the MVP of the week. And Matt is it soon. We are going to selabrat in writing wrok shop. We learned about deserts this week too.
